Hard work...great outcome!

Ms. Wallace works her magic again in Love's Bounty. Jake Myers, lobster/fishman by day and lonely person all the rest of the time. She needs a crew and she takes a chance on a light weight from South Boston who's been sent her way to clean up her act. Shy Silva might appear to be a greenhorn at first, but she catches on fast and works hard. Jake appreciates Shy's good work and feels the ice around her heart melt a little bit. Shy not only has bad friends who think they are good, but she has little faith in herself. Waiting until almost the end for the iceberg to melt....see what happens when all the parts are in working order.

Love makes you a different person. I loved it!

This was a romantic love story about two strong women, both with different backgrounds. They both must find their way back. They have a lot to learn and they learn from each other. Their relationship developed slowly but not without all kinds of bumps on the road. Family also plays an important role. A role that can mean the end of their relationship. The environment is very vividly described. You can imagine yourself there and I think it's a beautiful place. I like Jake, Shy and their friends. From the beginning to the end, I enjoyed this book very much and I recommend it highly.

The backdrop is not only amazing but the love story is hard to put down

This is my first time reading a book from this talent author and it won't be my last. Very romantic book it takes you into the scenes of portland. The backdrop is not only amazing but the love story is hard to put down. Looking forward to her other reads. she has certainly made me a fan of her work. Worth every penny.
