NJ Cole knows how to write Erotica!

When NJ Cole contacted me to see if I had an interest in reading or promoting Landslide I went and read the blurb. I have to say I was very curious about how a story with a 35-yr old senator and a 19-yr old girl would play out without it being ....oh what's the word...raunchy maybe....or gross? Ha. But, it being erotica and pretty much anything goes, I put my big girl panties on and gave it a go.
Senator Maxwell Joseph has certain sexual preferences. He also doesn't do relationships. He takes legal, younger willing women who like to role play in the bedroom with him acting as "daddy". Strange? Maybe, but who are we to judge another's preferences. Senator Maxwell knows it's odd, but he can't help what turns him on. He clearly states that if it were his real flesh and blood daughter he wouldn't have those feelings toward her.
Maxwell seems bored at the beginning, but then he goes to his room to find his "present", who also happens to be his best friend and advisers 19-yr old daughter MacKenzie.
Maxwell is stunned to find her in his bedroom and even more shocked that she knows about his preferences and is willing to submit to him. He pauses for just a few moments knowing that this probably isn't the best idea but unable to pull himself away from her. MacKenzie has been attracted to Senator Joseph for a while now and she is ready to go after what she wants.
Maxwell and MacKenzie aren't able to be with each other a lot at the beginning, as obligations keep then apart. However, they find themselves getting closer the more they see each other. Maxwell loves the submissive MacKenzie but finds himself drawn to her when they aren't roll playing as well. He tries to deny the feeling he is developing for her knowing that they can't ever have a real relationship that isn't hidden from the world.

Sexy, Steamy, and Hot!

A snippet of Landslide was posted on Ms. Cole's Facebook page and shared with a closed group I belong to. I stalked her page until the e-book release was announced. This was my first time reading Ms. Cole's work and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning attempting to finish. I made it to 3am before my eyelids rebelled. I've always been a fan of May/December romances but throw in a side of kink and we have a winner! Maxwell and Mackenzie were extremely likeable characters and their sexual escapades were intense. My only complaint was that Carter, Mackenzie' s father, eventually accepting his best friend who was sixteen years older having sex with his nineteen year old daughter was a wee bit far fetched. I just can't see it being that simple in everyday life. LOL highly unlikely is more like it. Despite that flaw, I have and will continue to recommend this book to others. Well done Ms. Cole, well done!

Landslide Won My Heart

It seems that NJ Cole has knocked another one out of the park!!! After I started reading Landslide, I could not, nor did I WANT to put it down. I felt compelled to know how Max was going to deal with his feelings for Kenzie and still manage his political career. The way Cole weaves the story of Max and Kenzie's love affair left this reader craving more. The characters have so much depth to them, that you easily fall in love with them both and wait on bated breath to read the outcome. Miss Cole's second release does not disappoint at all. She brings erotica to a whole new level with this book, turning something taboo into something truly amazing. Whether you like any sort of kink to your erotica or not, you really should give Landslide a try! You won't be disappointed!
